Waltti travel card

You can order a new Waltti travel card from Waltti webshop (delivered by mail in 7-14 days) or from Porin Leijona.

    • You can get a personal travel card either from Waltti webshop (delivered by mail in 7-14 days) or from Porin Leijona. In Porin Leijona, you have to have a police admitted identification with your picture, so that you can prove your identity.
    • From Waltti webshop you can either order a travel card for yourself or your under 17 year old child.
    • Personal travel card can only be used by the owner of the card. If travel card is used by a child or young, they must be able to prove their age to the driver if asked.
    • Kela school transport subsidy tickets and tickets in accordance with the Basic Education Act can only be loaded on to a personal travel card.

    • Can be bought only from Porin Leijona
    • Holder spesific card can be bought by a private customer, company or an organization
    • With holder spesific card there will be no personal information added to the travel card (name, age, etc), only the customer group is spesified.
    • To the holder spesific card you can buy either season ticket or value
    • The customer group can’t be changed and the holder spesific card can’t be changed to personal travel card

Loading a travel card

You can load your travel card in Waltti webshop (free) or in ticket sale points listed here. Loading a travel card in ticket sale points there’s a service fee of 2€.

Tickets loaded to the travel card are valid from the moment the travel card is used in the bus for the first time.

Ticket products with travel card

A travel card can be loaded with either a season ticket product, a value product or both.

Season ticket

A season ticket is valid for 30 days. A travel card can have one season ticket in use and one season ticket waiting to be used. If a season ticket on the travel card has not been activated (the card has not been used on the bus after the season ticket has been loaded), a new season ticket cannot be loaded on the travel card.

The same ticket can have a value in addition to the season ticket. On the bus, the reader will read the season ticket first, so if you want to pay with value or pay for the ticket of a passenger travelling with you, ask the driver to charge “Poikkeusmatka.”

A Kela school transport subsidy ticket is also a season ticket.

Value

The travel card can be loaded with money, i.e. value. The value remains on the travel card for 2 years. The value can also be used to pay for the journey of an accompanying passenger. Other cities Waltti travel cards

Waltti is a nationwide ticketing and payment system, so you can also travel on Pori’s public transport with a other cities Waltti travel card.

To travel with a travel card from another Waltti city, you must have value on your travel card. You cannot travel with a season ticket from another city. When you get on the bus, tell the driver that you want to pay for your journey with a travel card from another city and use the value for this. The price of the value ticket is city specific.
